At Foam Sales, we've been crafting gym mats for decades, figuring out the best combination of foams, fabrics and composition for optimal results. During this time we've had a long working relationship with Active Gymnastics, based nearby in O'Connor. Active Gymnastics offers training at all levels, from recreational gymnastics for children, through to top-level competition training.
Having recently expanded their premises, Active Gymnastics commissioned three large crash mats from Foam Sales to provide a safe landing under their new horizontal bars. Measuring 4 x 2.5m, the mats were custom-made to fit snugly between the upright bars on either side.
The mats are made from foam firm enough to give a stable landing while still providing sufficient give to cushion the impact during landing. They are covered in our high-grade rip-stop PVC, and are made to withstand heavy use over a long period of time - which is just as well, as Active Gymnastics is a very busy gym! Handles sewn into the sides will allow for the mats to be moved easily should the floor plan change in the future.
