This Foam Sales' range of reinforced PVC's are general purpose fabrics ideal for applications such as covers for crash mats, gym props, sporting equipment, and for heavy duty outdoor covers of all sorts. Fabric weights in this range are 600g/sm. Roll lengths are 30m.
Like most good quality industrial PVC's, this range is coated with a protective acrylic surface on one (usually presented as the outer surface) of the fabric cover. This 'shiny' protective coating makes surface cleaning easy. It also tends to preserve the 'new' look of the fabric, even for many years, by resisting surface wear, and so extending operating life. The reinforcing polyester base cloth incorporated into the PVC makes the fabric strongly resistant to tearing.
The fabrics are UV stabilised, for outdoor use. Their weatherproof surfaces are highly resistant to soiling, and can be wiped or hosed down for cleaning and hygiene purposes without causing damage to the fabric. They are resistant to mildew. Surface Finish is gloss / semi-gloss.
This range of PVC fabric is treated with fire retardant. (For PVC that is tested to AS 2930 fire retardant requirements, see our Tear-stop PVC range. Tear-stop PVC is also available in an antistatic version for use in mining and industrial applications.)
As with all Foam Sales' PVC fabrics, they have excellent plastic welding properties, and can also be sewn, as preferred.
