Pelmet DIY Instructions

	Step 1. Lay the soft foam wadding down on a flat surface. Lay the pelmet box face down on the soft foam wadding.
	Step 2. Bring the soft foam wadding up the top and sides of the Pelmet box, using dress pins to keep in place.
	Step 3. Cut the corners off the soft foam wadding to alleviate bulk bunching up
	Step 4. Fold and pin the soft foam wadding around the underside of the pelmet box. Now that the wadding is completed complete the following steps with your desired fabric.
	Step 5. Cut the fabric to suit the pelmet length. The calculation for this is; Length = Pelmet length plus 4 times the wall return size. Width = Pelmet face times 2 plus 3 times the wall return
	Step 6. Lay your fabric face down on a flat surface,
	Step 7. Lay your pelmet box face down on fabric. Make sure you lay it so the fabric pattern is positioned correctly along the face of the pelmet box.
	Step 8. Bring the fabric up over the sides of the pelmet box and pin with dress pins. Pay attention to the corners, fold fabric instead of bunch.
	Step 9. Your pelmet is now ready to put up on the wall. Install the brackets to the wall using wall plugs and screws provided. The should be positioned approximately 300mm in from the ends of the pelmet with support in the middle for longer pelmets. You may need more brackets depending on the length of the pelmet box.
	Step 10. Place the pelmet box on top of the brackets. Using a pen mark the holes of the brackets on the pelmet box. Drill 4mm holes through the fabric, wadding and polystyrene. Fix the pelmet to the brackets using the nuts, washers and bolts provided.
