Memory foam is a specially formulated polyurethane foam. It has many names including Visco-Elastic Foam, Impact Foam, Body Contour Foam and Slow Recovery Foam.

Memory Foam is unique in the way that it changes in firmness with changes in body temperature. Warmer temperatures, tend to soften memory foam. This means memory foam will soften more in areas that exhibit localised pressure, such as shoulders and hips. Softening of the foam in these areas tends to even out support and pressure across the body, thus increasing comfort and reducing the incidence of pressure sores.

For the person who requires even greater support we have our new range of superior density memory foam overlays. The come with a velour cotton cover with corner straps for positioning.
