This product is a strong contact adhesive suitable for bonding polystyrene foam to itself and to most other surfaces. This product will provide a strong bond to most products that are not attacked by solvent-based adhesives, including open cell, and closed cell foams.
For bonding open-cell and other closed cell foams you can also use Bullet Bond spray adhesive or foam contact adhesive but the foam contact adhesive cannot be used on polystyrene.
This adhesive can be wiped on, applied by brush or sprayed. It is compatible with all types of polystyrene (EPS and XPS, hard and standard grades). Apply sparingly in a light film. Heavy application will result in a weak bond due to solvent in the surplus liquid attacking the polystyrene. The solvent content should be allowed to evaporate, and the surface to go tacky before adhering the surfaces.
