Where does Foam Sales ship to?
Australia-wide to all States, Territories and Regions in Australia. Overseas buyers may contract their own Courier Collections by arrangement with us.  

Where does Foam Sales Ship From?

Good question! Foam Sales Head Office and main Factory are based in Perth WA. We ship most of our Flexible and Closed Cell Foam products from Perth. We also ship our Saviro XPS Blue Board orders from Perth. 

Foam Sales partners with Polystyrene Factories in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Hobart. Orders of Polystyrene Sheets, Cut-to-Size polystyrene orders, and Garage Door Insulation Panels are generally supplied to Eastern States addresses from our Partner Factory in your own State Capital. 

For wholesale and large volume orders of flexible foam we also supply Eastern States addresses from our Partner Foam Factories in each Mainland State Capital City. 

We supply our Polycell Poly Foam Rolls directly to Eastern States addresses from Polycell Factories in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. 

All of the above arrangements for supply of your orders direct from our Partner Companies allow our Eastern States customers wider product choices while enabling savings on freight costs so as to give you the best possible deal. 

When will my order be shipped?
Most telephone and on-line orders for stocked items will be dispatched within 2 working days of payment, or of Order Confirmation from Account Customers. Custom cut foam and polystyrene orders shipped within WA are usually shipped from our factory within 3-4 days, and from our Partner Factories within 2 weeks. 

Custom orders that involve sewing of fabrics and other custom foam work will usually take 2-3 weeks before despatch from our Perth Factory. On placement of your custom order we will email an Official Confirmation as agreed with you, with details including the expected shipping date and your delivery address. We will always advise you in advance if any unusual delays are expected.

Wholesale and Account orders within the Perth area are usually delivered within 3 days of order, or by agreement.

How will my order be shipped?
For deliveries local to Perth Region we use our own company trucks. Deliveries Australia-wide are despatched on Couriers including Toll, ExpressLink, Bunbury Freight, Kalexpress, Civic, and Australia Post.

Most orders are shipped by road freight. Small items under 5kg are shipped by Australia Post Express (2-3 days).

Shipping Transit Times from Perth WA
For deliveries from Perth to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane please allow 10-14  days transit shipping time. For Tasmanian, Northern Territory, North Queensland, and remote country locations, please allow up to 3 weeks transit time.

Transit time to South West WA is 2 days, and to North West WA 7 days.

Please note that from time to time, and in busy periods, including pre-Christmas, lead times can be longer than these. Though we can guarantee your Shipping Date ex our Factory, we are generally not able to guarantee Transit Times or Delivery Dates, once the goods are in Transit with our Couriers. 

Shipping Transit Times from Eastern States Capital City Partners
Deliveries to addresses within the respective State Capital Cities will arrive within 1-2 days. Please allow up to one week for delivery transit time to Regional and Remote locations within your State. 

What about the freight cost for large items?
Many products that Foam Sales supplies are large volume items. Freight costs for large volumes of Foam and Polystyrene Products will sometimes be prohibitive. These costs can often be greatly reduced by shipping direct from one of our Partner Factories. 

For custom-made products, and for large volume orders please enquire for a freight quotation. 

Shipping costs for all Shippable items otherwise can be found using our calculator on the relevant Product Pages - just enter your postcode. 

Does Foam Sales have a freight charges guide?
Deliveries to Perth Metro Region generally incur a delivery charge of $30. 

Delivery charges to locations across Australia vary by postcode and shipping volume. Freight Charges for each product can be checked on the respective product page by entering your postcode into the Freight Calculator. Freight Costs for multiple product purchases are confirmed at checkout. 

How can I track my order? (Online and Interstate orders)
We will notify you by email when your order is due to leave our premises. Whether sent by Courier or by Auspost, we will provide you with a linked tracking number that will enable you to track the progress of your delivery and to obtain an estimated Delivery Date. 

In the event that you have not received your order within a day or two of the estimated delivery date, contact can be made directly with the Carrier. This most often resoles any issue that may have arisen. Should this approach be unsuccessful please get in contact with us and we will follow up your order with our freight company.

What happens if I am not at home to receive the Delivery?
Excepting where special arrangements have been made, if no-one can be present to receive the goods, they will be left at the front door, garage, or the most appropriate location as determined by the driver.

Please do advise us when placing your order, if goods cannot be delivered to your delivery address without being received personally. Certified delivery, and Depot collections can sometimes be arranged.

What if my order is damaged in transit?
If an item is damaged in transit you have the option to refuse delivery if you are present at the time of delivery. If you accept the order please ensure that you note on the delivery docket that the goods are damaged, and to what extent. Then advise us as soon as possible, so that we can rectify the situation. Please send one or more photos to us showing the damage as soon as possible after delivery of your order. Damaged goods will be repaired or replaced as appropriate, and by agreement with you. 

Returns Policy
Our policy is to refund purchase costs and to pay freight cost of returns if there is a fault with the product, or if it is not as described on our web page, or in your Order Confirmation. We do not offer free shipping of returns simply because a buyer has changed their mind after having made their purchase. 

We do however accept stocked items back into our store, and will give a full refund on goods returned to Foam Sales by arrangement provided the product, when it arrives back within 2 weeks of receipt by our customer, is still in new condition. Custom-made and custom-cut orders usually cannot be returned for a refund.
