Shipping, Delivery & Returns

When will my order be shipped?
Most telephone and on-line orders for stocked items will be dispatched within 2 working days. Custom cut foam and polystyrene orders are usually shipped from our factory within 3 days. 

Custom orders that involve sewing of fabrics and other custom work will usually take 2-3 weeks before despatch. We email a confirmation for each order received, with details including expected shipping date and your delivery address. We will always advise you of any unusual delays.

Wholesale orders within the Perth area are usually delivered within 3 days of order, or by agreement.

Deliveries outside of Perth Region have transit times varying between 2 - 14 days depending upon location across Australia. We will give you an estimate for your location / postcode with your order confirmation. 

Where does Foam Sales ship to?
Australia-wide to all States, Territories and Regions in Australia. 

How will my order be shipped?
For deliveries local to Perth Region we use our own company trucks. Deliveries Australia-wide are despatched on Couriers including Toll, ExpressLink, Fastway Couriers, and Australia Post.

Most orders are shipped by road freight. Small items under 5kg are shipped by Australia Post Express (2-3 days).

Shipping Times
For deliveries to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane allow up to 10 days transit shipping time. For Tasmanian, Northern Territory and remote country deliveries, please allow up to 14 days transit time.

Transit time to South West WA is 2 days, and to North West WA 7 days.

What about the freight cost for large items?
Many products that Foam Sales supplies are large volume items. These consignments are shipped by Road Freight. Shipping costs for all shippable items can be found using our calculator on the relevant product pages - just enter your postcode. For custom-made items please enquire for a freight quotation. 

Does Foam Sales have a freight charges guide?
Deliveries to Perth Metro Region generally incur a delivery charge of $30. 

Delivery charges to locations across Australia vary by postcode and shipping volume. Freight Charges for each product can be checked on the respective product page by entering your postcode into the Freight Calculator. Freight Costs for multiple product purchases are confirmed at checkout. 

Will I be notified when my delivery is scheduled to arrive?
Yes. We will always advise by email of shipping dates, couriers used, and tracking numbers with the courier web address so you can track your delivery. Excepting where special arrangements have been made, if no-one can be present to receive the goods, they will be left at the front door, garage, or the most appropriate location as determined by the driver.

When we use carriers some will also call to arrange a delivery time, but generally the order will arrive unannounced. Please do advise us if goods cannot be delivered to your delivery address without being received personally. Certified delivery, and Depot collections can sometimes be arranged.

How can I track my order? (Online and Interstate orders)
We will notify you when your order is due to leave our premises. Whether sent by courier or by post, we will provide you with a tracking number and website address of the carrier concerned. Anticipated delivery dates are available from some of our carrier's websites.

If you have not received your order within two weeks of despatch, get in contact with us and we will follow up your order with our freight company for you. (On rare occasions consignments can go missing - usually temporarily.)

What if my order is damaged in transit?
If an item is damaged in transit you have the option to refuse delivery if you are present at the time of delivery. If you accept the order please ensure that you note on the delivery docket that the goods are damaged, and to what extent. Then please advise us as soon as possible, so that we can rectify the situation. A photo sent to us as soon as possible after delivery of your order will assist.

Returns Policy
Our policy is to refund purchase costs and to pay freight cost of returns if there is a fault with the product, or if it is not as described on our web page, or in your customer quotation. We do not offer free shipping of returns simply because a buyer has changed their mind after having made their purchase. 

We do however accept stocked items back into our store, and will give a full refund on goods returned to Foam Sales by arrangement provided the product, when it arrives back within 2 weeks of receipt by our customer, is still in new condition. Custom-made and custom-cut orders usually cannot be returned.
