Foam Purge Dams, Purge Plugs and Foam Pigs

Used in tube and pipe welding, foam purge dams isolate the weld area, ensuring a quality weld, while minimising the amount of gas required in the weld zone, in turn saving time and money on the job.

Purge dams are a simple, effective and economical alternative to bladders and baffles. Being flexible and easy to use, they can save significant cost and time on the job for contractors, and for large projects. 

Incorporating layers of both open cell and closed cell flexible foams, the dams can be compressed and inserted into the pipe, providing a safe air-tight barrier to the movement of air or gas into or out of the welding zone.
