EVA is a Closed Cell Foam that is flexible, elastic, light weight, buoyant, inert, non-dusting and easily manipulated, making EVA Sheets and Products useful for use both in industry and privately, for comfort and protection. Uses include shock absorbing and vibration dampening and cushioning, impact absorption, product protection and packaging, thermal insulation, and for acoustic sound attenuation.
EVA Sheets and Products can be summarised as having most of the properties of PE while having superior elasticity, offering higher rebound and resilience in response to compression.
Due to its excellent elasticity EVA is well suited to gym floors and matting applications where spring and rebound are required for superior comfort and performance. Being a thermoplastic EVA can be moulded to shape for pads, saddles and boots, and for protective clothing.
