Foam Sales PE45 Polyethylene Foam Sheets are firm to feel, and suitable for most applications requiring firm Closed Cell Foam. The product comes in sheet size 2x1 metre, in a range of thicknesses from 20-100mm. Product density is 45kg/m3. Colour is black. Limited stocks are available in Grey Colour in some thicknesses on request, and as available. Please advise when ordering if grey colour is preferred.

The chemically cross linked and closed cell structure of our PE45 foam sheets makes them stable and inert, impermeable to water and moisture-intrusion, to fungi, bacteria, and to air. The sheets are resistant to common acids, alkilies, and chemicals, to fuels and oil, and are moderately resistant to UV light.
These sheets are semi-flexible, and have moderate to good recovery after repeated periods of short-term compression. They are not brittle, so they won't crack or break, they are easily cut, do not rip or splinter, are dust free and how no odour.
Polyethylene is a closed cell industrial foam used commercially, in construction, and in industrial and domestic applications. PE45 uses include impact absorption and protection, vibration dampening, load deflection, expansion joints in concrete, industrial seals and gaskets, boat fenders, and marine buoyancy and flotation.
Being firm, and resistant to abbrasion, PE45 polyethylene sheet is particularly well suited for use in Pelican Cases, and for the protection and safe storage of instruments and equipment in road cases and boxes.
